Distractions (but development nonetheless)

So it has been a while since my last blog post. I could attribute this to laziness, but instead I will blame school. We had exams last week, causing me to divert my focus away from blogging. But, now that exams are over, and I have gotten settled into the new semester I am happy to report that blogging will be continuing as normal again. I have quite a few music reviews I want to get done, including the new Magnetic Fields, Los Campesinos! , Charlotte Gainsbourg, and Beach House. But right now I want to talk about the game.

Since my last blog post a huge amount of progress has been made. It is now, for all intensive intents and purposes, a basic working game. As you can see in the screenshots there are various enemies, a working health bar, a points system. What the screenshot doesn’t reveal however is the power ups, the enemies attacks, and the players ability to attack. I plan to make a youtube video of the game in action soon. There is still a lot of work to be done, but now that the groundwork has been set, the rest will be a lot easier and is just polish and development. I cant wait to share more about that game soon. I hope everyone is as excited as I am.

    Really I always though it was intensive purposes, but I guess that does make more sense.
